Kashmiris, Pakistanis in US urged to massively participate in Oct 27 anti-India rally in Washington

Washington, October 25 (KMS): The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, has called upon the Pakistanis and Kashmiris living in the US to massively participate in anti-India protest demonstration to be held in front of the Indian Embassy in Washington on the Kashmir Black Day (October 27) to register their protest against India’s illegal occupation over Jammu and Kashmir.

The AJK President talking to reporters in Washington said, the Kashmiris’ will continue their struggle till they achieved freedom from Indian yoke.

He said that the million marches held in London, New York, Brussels and Berlin in the recent past had help in highlighting the Kashmir dispute at global level. I therefore appeal to the Kashmiri and Pakistani diaspora community to ensure their presence in the upcoming protest and play their much-needed role to expose India’s nefarious designs before the world, he added.

Barrister Chaudhary and noted Kashmiri leader Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai said the Kashmiris are the real and important party to Kashmir dispute. They said, there was a dire need of an inclusive dialogue between all the stakeholders – Pakistan, India and the real Kashmiri leadership – to find out a solution of the lingering dispute.

They urged the international community to take cognizance of the worsening political and human rights situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and impress upon India to stop the killing of innocent Kashmiris.
