Indian court discharges 5 innocent Muslims in terrorism case after 13 years

Kochi, October 18 (KMS): A court of India’s notorious National Investigating Agency (NIA) in Kochi city of Kerala state has discharged five innocent Muslim men in a false case registered against them on the charges of allegedly possessing explosive substances after thirteen years of illegal detention.

The Muslim men were discharged from the case as no evidence was found that any of them ever had any connection with the possession of the explosive material.

The Indian police had claimed that it recovered the explosive substance during a search in Kannur city of Kerala in 2009.
