New Delhi, October 12 (KMS): In yet another crime against women in India, a 32-year-old woman was gang raped in the Indian capital New Delhi.
Police said three persons Ajay, Tara Chand and Naresh raped the woman inside a hotel room in Adarsh area of northwest Delhi.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (northwest) Usha Rangnani told the media that a call regarding the incident was received at Adarsh Nagar police station on Sunday. She said that the woman in her statement said that she was invited by her acquaintance Ajay to a hotel room on Sunday where two of his friends were also present.
The DCP said they allegedly offered the woman a spiked cold drink and she became unconscious after consuming it. Following this, she added, the trio raped the woman.
She said that on the basis of the victim’s statement the accused were arrested.
