Lalu terms BJP ‘Bharat Jalao Party’

Patna, October 12 (KMS): Former Chief Minister of the Indian state of Bihar and Rashtra Janata Dal supremo, Lalu Prasad Yadav, has termed the ruling Indian party as ‘Bharat Jalao Party’ (Burn India Party).

He was addressing RJD convention, a day after being elected as president of the party for the 12th time.

He said that Bharatiya Janata Party was communalizing India by making every aspect of life in the country as Hindu-Muslim issue.

Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son and Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister, Tehashwi Yadav, in his address described the Narendra Modi led BJP as ‘Badka Jotta Party’ (a party of big liars).

Tejashwi maintained that the saffron party was dividing the Indian society on communal lines to divert public attention from genuine issues like price rise, education, unemployment and health.

Recalling Bharatiya Janata Party MP Parvesh Verma’s Islamophobic remarks for a boycott of Muslims, Tejashwi Yadav questioned the rightwing party’s mindset asking can’t they understand that India imports most of its oil from Muslim countries. He questioned BJP whether it has the guts to stop it too.
