Tributes paid to martyrs of Nanga Pir, Kashmir

Dhirkot, AJK, September 26 (KMS): A Martyrs Conference was organized in Dhirkot, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, today, to pay tributes to the martyrs of Nanga Pir and Kashmir.

Raja Nisar Ahmad Shayiq, a dynamic political and social figure of AJK, presided over the event who expressed solidarity with the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He reiterated the pledge to stand with the Kashmiris in their freedom struggle, adding the time is not far when Kashmiris will get freedom from India.

All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter leaders in their addresses said that Nanga Pir played an important role in the freedom movement of Kashmir from 1947 till now and sacrificed their precious lives. This is the land of martyrs.

APHC-AJK chapter General Secretary Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Information Secretary, Imtiaz Wani, Member of AJK Legislative Assembly, Imtiaz Naseem, Former Secretary to Government and social personality Raja Muhammad Irshad Khan Vice President of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists Raja Mehtab Ashraf Khan, Dr Nisar Ahmed, Sardra Abeer Abbasi, Raja Wajid Ali Khan, Professor Riaz Asghar Maloti and other leaders addressed the Martyrs Conference.
