Congress leader says BJP govt responsible for killing of Pandits in IIOJK
New Delhi, August 31 (KMS): Congress leader Ashwani Handa has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party government was responsible for the killing of 24 Kashmiri Pandits at Nadimarg, Pulwama district, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in 2003.
Ashwani Handa in an interview with an Indian TV channel asked why a big incident like Nadimarg massacre occurred whenever the Bharatiya Janata Party is in government.
He said that in 2003, when the Nadimarg killing took place, there was the BJP government of Atal Behari Wajpayee in India. He said, it is a big question, which needs to be answered.
Earlier in May 2022, reacting to the killing of a Kashmiri pandit Rahul Bhat in Budgam district, Ashwani Handa also blamed the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs for the killing.
