AJK officially observing Syed Ali Gilani’s martyrdom day
Muzaffarabad, August 31 (KMS): Azad Jammu and Kashmir Government has announced to officially observe the first martyrdom anniversary of veteran Kashmiri leader, Syed Ali Gilani, tomorrow.
Several programmes have been arranged in recognition of the veteran leader’s services for the Kashmir cause. A seminar will be organized by Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Commission at Kashmir House, Islamabad, tomorrow.
AJK Prime Minister will attend the function as chief guest. All parties Hurriyat Conference leaders and representatives of different political parties will participate in the seminar.
Besides, seminars and symposiums will be held at all colleges and universities in Azad Jammu and Kashmir to highlight the role of Syed Ali Gilani in the ongoing Kashmir’s freedom struggle.
Rallies, processions and seminars will be held at all district headquarters in Azad Kashmir on the occasion, while AJK President and Prime Minister will issue special messages in acknowledgement of Syed Ali Gilani’s dedication, commitment and contribution to the Kashmiris’ struggle for right to self-determination.
