Anti-India rally held in Muzaffarabad
Muzaffarabad, August 19 (KMS): An anti-India protest rally was held in Muzaffarabad, today, against the extra-judicial killing of a detainee, Muhammad Ali Hussain, in Kot Bhalwal Jail in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Indian police had taken Muhammad Ali Hussain from Kot Bhalwal Jail to Arnia area in Jammu and killed him in a fake encounter on Tuesday.
A large number of people participated in the rally organized by International Forum for Justice Human Rights Jammu and Kashmir and marched from Burhan Wani Chowk to Ghari Pan Chowk. The protestors raised slogans against the Indian government and armed forces.
Addressing on the occasion, the speakers said that the murder of Muhammad Ali Hussain was the worst display of Indian state terrorism. They said that the United Nations and human rights organizations should play their role to protect the Kashmiri prisoners in languishing in the jails of IIOJK and India.
The speakers said the Indian government is killing Kashmiri prisoners in a planned manner by taking them out of jails and martyring them in fake encounters. They appealed to the world human rights organizations to come forward to protect the lives of Kashmiri prisoners.
The speakers included International Forum for Justice Vice Chairman Mushtaqul Islam, Chairman Pasban Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir Uzair Ahmad Ghazali, Peoples Party leader Shaukat Javed Mir, Advocate Ali Raza, Dr Muhammad Manzoor, Khawaja Zaheer Ahmed, Usman Ali Hashim and Tanzir Iqbal.
