Indian cop, civilian injured in grenade attacks in IIOJK

Srinagar, August 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a civilian was injured after unidentified men hurled a grenade in Gopalpora Chadoora in Budgam district police on Monday evening.

Police officials said that a civilian, identified as Karan Kumar (20), a resident of Gopalpora area of Chadoora, was injured in the attack.

The injured person with multiple splinter injuries was immediately shifted to SMHS hospital in Srinagar for treatment and his condition is stated to be ‘stable’ and is under treatment, officials said.

On the other hand, unknown men hurled a grenade at the Police Control Room (PCR), Srinagar, on Monday, resulting in minor injuries to one police personnel.

The area has been cordoned off and further details awaited.
