Mother-in-law of Shaikh Lateef (late) passes away in Islamabad
Islamabad, August 11 (KMS): The mother-in-law of noted Kashmiri journalist Shaikh Muhammad Lateef (late) passed away in Islamabad, today, after a brief illness. She was 80.
According to Kashmir Media Service, she breathed her last at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad, where she was undergoing treatment for the last few days. Her funeral prayers will be offered at Dhok Paracha in Rawalpindi after Juma prayers, tomorrow.
Shaikh Muhammad Lateef, who was associated with Kashmir Media Service as sub editor, passed away in Islamabad on July 08, this year.
Hailing from Srinagar, Shaikh Lateef had migrated to Pakistan after India unleashed a reign of terror in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in 1990s. As a journalist, he highlighted the Indian atrocities in the occupied territory.
