Karachi, August 05 (KMS): Sindh Labour Minister Saeed Ghani and All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter leaders Sheikh Abdul Mateen and Zahid Ashraf on Friday led a rally organized in connection with Youm-e-Istehsal to express solidarity with the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The rally was taken out from People’s Chowrangi to the mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam VIP Gate.
Besides other provincial ministers, Giyan Chand, Adviser to Chief Minister Sindh Rasool Bakhsh Chandio, CM Special Assistant Sadiq Memon, members of Sindh Assembly, DC East Raja Tariq Chandio, Administrator East Rahmatullah Sheikh and All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter leaders Sheikh Abdul Mateen and Zahid Ashraf participated in the rally.
Before the start of the rally, one minute’s silence was observed to express solidarity with the oppressed people of IIOJK.
Speaking on the occasion, Saeed Ghani said Youm-e-Istehsal was being observed across the country to pay tributes to the people of IIOJK for their resolve for freedom despite the worst Indian state terrorism. He said on August 5, 2019, India abolished the special status of Kashmir and imposed the Indian Constitution on occupied Kashmir as well.
He said after repealing special status of Kashmir, India started trying to convert the Muslim majority into a minority.
Saeed Ghani said, “I assure my Kashmiri brethren that the whole of Pakistani nation is with them in their struggle for freedom and I salute the spirit and struggle of Kashmiris.”
