Rallies held in AJK to mark Youm-e-Istehsal

Muzaffarabad, August 05 (KMS): Anti-India rallies and demonstrations were held in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, today, to mark the 5th August as Youm-e-Istehsal.

The participants of the rallies and demonstrations organized by All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter, Pasban-e-Hurriyat, and other organizations in Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Mirpur, Kotli and other cities of AJK chanted high-pitched slogans against India and in favour of Kashmir’s freedom from Indian illegal occupation. The demonstrators were holding black flags and wearing black ribbons on their foreheads.

The protestors in Muzaffarabad also submitted a resolution to the United Nations Observer Office asking the representatives of the UN to declare all the Indian unconstitutional, inhumane and undemocratic actions null and void.

Addressing these events, the speakers strongly said that the Indian actions on August 5, 2019 were an open example of terrorism towards Kashmiri people. They said India cannot change the ground realities in Kashmir through its brutal measures.

The speakers included AJK Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, Former Prime Minister AJK Raja Farooq Haider, AJK Chief Secretary Muhammad Usman Chachar, AJK Minister Chaudhry Akbar Ibrahim, PPP leader Shaukat Javed Mir, Director Kashmir Liberation Commission Sajjad Latif Khan, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Usman Ali Hashim, Qazi Imran.
