Funeral of freedom activist Abdul Rauf held in Muzaffarabad

Muzaffarabad, July 27 (KMS): Funeral prayers of Abdul Rauf Tantray, a well-known freedom activist from Kupwara district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir were offered at Mankpehian in Muzaffarabad. He died after drowning in the river, the other day.

He was buried in a local graveyard. A large number of people including refugees and local people participated in the funeral.

Addressing the mourners on the occasion, speakers said that Abdul Raf Tantray dedicated his entire life to the freedom cause and his struggle will always be remembered. They paid rich tribute to the deceased.

Among those who spoke on the occasion included Mushtaqul Islam, Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Shaukat Javed Mir, Bilal Ahmed Farooqui, Jafarul Islam and Usman Ali Hashim.
