18-year-old Muslim youth killed in Bajrang Dal attack in Karnataka
Bengaluru, July 23 (KMS): An 18-year-old Muslim youth injured in an attack by members of the Hindu militant group Bajrang Dal in Bellare village in Sullia taluk of Dakshina Kannada district of the Indian state of Karnataka succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. The deceased youth has been identified as Masood.
A group of eight extremist Hindu had attacked Masood on the night of 19 July. As he was severely injured after he was assaulted with a soda bottle, he was shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru.
Police said that they have arrested the accused Sudhir, Abhilash, Sunil, Shiva, Sadhashiv, Ranjith, Gym Ranjith and Bhaskar.
