Indian soldier killed after avalanche hits army vehicle in Leh

Srinagar, June 23 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian army man, Swaranjit Singh, was killed and several others were injured after an avalanche hit an Indian army vehicle in Leh district.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the soldier died after the vehicle carrying Indian Army personnel fell into a gorge after being hit by the avalanche in Leh, Ladakh.

The deceased soldier was from Indian city Ludhiana and was deployed at Leh in Ladakh region.

Meanwhile, an Indian policeman died of cardiac arrest while he was on duty in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Islamabad district late Wednesday evening, officials said on Thursday.
