New Delhi, June 20, (KMS): Jawahir Lal University (JNU) Associate Professor Sharad Baviskar has said that he was abducted and subsequently subjected to physical torture by a gang in Indian capital New Delhi.
The professor registered an FIR with police stating that he remained in the captivity of a group of people for several hours and was subjected to physical torture, threats and extortion.
Professor Baviskar filed the police complaint on June 18.
It is worth mentioning here that Hindutva gang under Modi government is targeting liberal and secular voices in India, at free will.
