25 die in Uttarakhand mishap, 13 in an explosion in UP in one day
Uttarkashi (U’khand), June 06 (KMS): At least twenty-five yatris died and three were critically injured in a Mishap in Indian state of Uttarakhand.
The incident occurred when the bus in which the yatris from Panna district of Indian state of Madhya Pradesh were travelling in fell into a deep gorge en route to the Yamunotri temple near Damta in Uttarkashi district.
Besides the driver and the helper, there were 28 passengers in the bus.
Meanwhile, at least 13 workers died and 20 people injured when a boiler exploded at a chemical factory in Ruhi Industries Dhaulana area in Hapur district of Indian state Utter Pradesh
“So far, 13 people have been killed, while 20 injured,” Superintendent of Police Deepak Bhuker told media men. He added that 11 out of the 13 deceased have been identified, and they are from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar states.
