Man shot at, injured in Shopian

Srinagar, June 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a man was injured after unidentified gunmen fired at him in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday evening.

The gunmen shot at a civilian Farooq Ahmad Sheikh in Chidren Keegam area of the district. He got injury in leg and was shifted to a hospital. His condition is stated to be stable.

Soon after the incident, Indian police and troops cordoned off the area and launched searches to nab the attackers.
