Ali Raza Syed in a statement issued in Brussels urged the international community, including the European Union (EU), to use their good offices for early and unconditional release of Yasin Malik.
As per media reports, two life imprisonments have been given by the Indian court to Yasin Malik, besides 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and Rs 10 lakh penalty. Yasin Malik has been in jail for the last three years on false charges.
