Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam pays homage to its former president

Srinagar, May 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam has paid homage to its former President, Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq (RA), on the eve of his 32nd martyrdom anniversary.

Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam in a statement in Srinagar said Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq (RA) played a vital role in the welfare of the Anjuman and all the educational institutions under it and in bringing them in line with the modern educational requirements thereby creating the spirit of knowledge within Islam as an example for us.

The Anjuman said it salutes the vision of the Shaheed-e-Millat (RA) for the Kashmiris, especially the seriousness with which he took steps to adorn the Kashmiri women with education. “Shaheed-e-Millat (RA) repeatedly said that Muslim students should have the Qur’an in one hand and the latest science book in the other hand so that they can overcome the challenges being faced by the Muslim Ummah and bring out solutions to the issues confronting the Muslim World,” it said.

The Anjuman said its present Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and the entire team of the organization are committed and striving to make the educational institutions run under Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam of high standard in every possible way and also for the bright future of the educational institution.
