Karnataka govt defends inclusion of RSS founder’s speech in textbook

Bengaluru, May 17 (KMS): The Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh has defended the inclusion of a speech by RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in a revised Class X Kannada textbook.

This was objected to by organisations, including the All-India Democratic Students Organisation (AIDSO) and All-India Save Education Committee (AISEC).

It is worth mentioning here that Karnataka is being ruled by the Hindu extremist Bharatiya Janata Party, which is backed by RSS.
