KU students protest against sacking of Chemistry Professor by Modi regime

Srinagar, May 14 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Kashmir University students staged a protest against the sacking of Chemistry professor of the varsity, Altaf Hussain Pandit, by the Indian authorities.

The students holding posters with ‘Black Day for Chemistry Department’ slogan and photos of the professor rejected and condemned the authorities’ order on Professor Altaf Hussain Pandit.

The Indian authorities have dismissed three Kashmiri government employees, including the KU Professor Altaf Hussain Pandit; a teacher Muhammad Maqbool Hajam, and a local police constable Ghulam Rasool from the service on the charges of supporting the ongoing right to self-determination movement.

The Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government has dismissed several government employees during the last few months. The crackdown is part of its policy to victimize the Kashmiri people to subdue their resolve for freedom.
