No change in Pakistan’s policy on trade with India: FO

Islamabad, May 12 (KMS): Foreign Office spokesperson Asim Iftikhar has clarified that there is no change in Pakistan’s policy on trade with India.

In his media briefing in Islamabad today [Thursday], he said we want friendly relations with all our neighbouring countries, including India but the situation arose after the Indian illegal actions of August 2019 didn’t provide conducive environment.

Regarding reduction in water flow in Chenab River, the spokesperson said the issue was raised by our Commissioner on Indus Water Treaty with his Indian counterpart and we will take all necessary steps to protect our interests.
