Shaheed Ashraf Sehrai remembered in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 06 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, despite Indian military siege, youth remembered martyred senior APHC leader and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai at many places in Srinagar.

On his first martyrdom anniversary, Shaheed Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai was remembered by holding his pictures and banners in several areas of Srinagar by the members of Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement.

Those holding the pictures of the martyred resistance leader also shouted pro-freedom and pro-Pakistan slogans.

On the occasion, APHC leader, Dr Musaib said that Ashraf Sehrai never compromised on Kashmir freedom movement and throughout his life continued his struggle for securing the Kashmiris’ inalienable right to self-determination.

Terming Ashraf Sehrai’s martyrdom as a custodial killing, he said that the Indian authorities had arrested the senior leader with the intention to kill him and urged the global institutions to probe the same to bring the culprits to book.

He maintained that India had hatched a conspiracy to kill APHC leaders and activists. He reiterated the Kashmiris’ pledge to take the mission of Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai and his martyred son Junaid Ashraf Sehrai to its logical conclusion at all costs.
