Over 40 political prisoners shifted from IIOJK to Indian jail

Jammu, April 29 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities have shifted over forty illegally detained political prisoners including APHC leader, Mushtaqul Islam and journalist Aasif Sultan lodged in Kot Bhalwal Jail Jammu under the black law Public Safety Act, to Ambedkar Nagar central jail in Agra city of the Indian state of Utter Pradesh, today.

Relatives of several illegally detained political prisoners talking to media men said that at least 40 persons were transferred to the Indian jail amid tight security in the holy month of Ramadan.

The illegally detained journalist Aasif Sultan has completed over 1300 days in prison since his arrest in August 2018 under the black law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and Public Safety Act (PSA).
