Al-Moosvi expresses solidarity with people of Palestine

Srinagar, April 29 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, has called upon the Muslims all over the world to unite in solidarity with the Palestinians fighting against the Israeli occupation.

Addressing the Juma congregation at central Imambargah in Badgam, Agha Hassan said, the Zionist script is an extension of colonialism and Apartheid, never seen in the history of human kind. “It set out to viciously and violently occupy all of Palestine, by changing its demographics through ethnic cleansing, terrorism and genocide,” he said.

The APHC leader said the first wave of expulsion in 1948 was followed by many more; all intended for the establishment and implementation of this evil system. “The definitive target is to Judaize the city of Al Quds by removing the Islamic, Arabic and Christian characters of the city. Its policy remains inflammatory,” he said.

Agha Hassan maintained that Israel’s strategy in Al Quds is a clear violation of international law, numerous resolutions of the UN Security Council and the General Assembly, concerning the rights of the Palestinians.

Meanwhile, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, in a statement strongly condemned the occupation authorities’ oppressive move of locking up Jamia Masjid Srinagar on the occasion of Shab-e-Qadr and Jumatul Wida. He said stopping the Muslims from attending Shab-e-Qadr and Jumatul Wida prayers at the Jamia Masjid was aimed at hurting the religious sentiments of the Kashmiri people.
