IIOJK authorities’ decision to disallow Shab-e-Qadr, Jumatul Wida prayers at Jamia Masjid Srinagar condemned

Srinagar, April 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid, Srinagar, has strongly denounced the authorities for their decision to not allow Shab-e-Qadr as well as Jumatul Wida prayers at grand mosque.

The Anjuman Auqaf in a statement said that the government and police officials headed by a magistrate visited the Jamia Masjid premises on Wednesday after Iftar and conveyed to the Auqaf members that the authorities have decided not to allow prayers on Shab-e-Qadr (being observed today (Thursday) – 27th night of Ramadan) as well as Jumatul Wida congregational prayers to be held in Jamia Masjid on the last Friday of Ramadan. It strongly denounced the authorities’ decision.
