Muhammad Shafi remembered on first death anniversary

Srinagar, April 20 (KMS): Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has paid rich tributes to the late Muhammad Shafi Khan of Nawab Bazar, Srinagar, on his first death anniversary.

Muhammad Shafi was a senior leader of the organisation and a well known social activist.

In a statement, the AAC on behalf of its leadership, especially its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, paid rich tributes to Muhammad Shafi Khan for his selfless service to the organisation, movement and society.

“The sincerity, high morals, and unwavering commitment of Muhammad Shafi Khan and his association with the Mirwaiz family are remembered even today in the organisational ranks,” the statement said.

The AAC prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the deceased leader a high position in Jannah.

Meanwhile, Chamber of Commerce Industry Kashmir also paid glowing tributes to Mohammed Shafi Khan who was its past president. CCIK President Tariq Rashid Ghani said Khan’s contribution is praiseworthy and said his departure was a great loss to the business community.
