Protests against anti-people policies of IIOJK authorities

Jammu, April 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, unemployed youth of Doda district protested against the authorities and demanded that unemployed youth of the district should be given jobs in the construction of Sudhmahadev-Khellani tunnel.

The protesters said that even the menial jobs had been given to the non-locals. They said the politicians of the district are busy fighting against each other and are not paying any attention to the problems of the youth.

Meanwhile, residents of Latote village in Rajouri district carried out a protest against the authorities saying that sub-standard material has been used in the construction of the bridge in the village.

The residents said that inadequate iron bars had been used in the construction of the bridge, adding that lives of people would be put at risk as and when vehicles pass through the bridge. The residents said that the work on the bridge had been going for the past four years and yet to be completed.
