Indian police arrest woman in Sopore
Srinagar, March 31 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police today arrested a woman in Sopore area of Baramulla district.
The police arrested the woman identified as Haseena Akhtar. The police claimed that the lady had hurled a petrol bomb on a bunker of the Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Sopore earlier this week.
The police also labeled the woman as an over-ground worker of a mujahid organization and three FIRs under black law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) stand registered against her.
Earlier, the authorities had also kept her husband Mohammad Yousuf Butt remained in illegal detention for 17 months after booking him under another draconian law, Public Safety Act (PSA) in 2016.
