NIA raids termed as war strategy against Kashmiri people: Uzair Ghazalii

Muzaffarabad, March 28 (KMS): The Chairman of Pasban-e-Hurriyat, Uzair Ahmad Ghazali has said that the Indian government is using its infamous National Investigation Agency (NIA) as a weapon of war against the Kashmiri people.

Uzair Ahmad Ghazali in a statement issued in Muzaffarabad on Monday said that arrest of innocent citizens was the worst example of brutality in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

He said that illegal raids of NIA were planned war strategies to weaken the ongoing struggle for the right to self-determination.

Terming the Indian actions on 5th August 2019 as illegal, he said that people from all segments of society were imprisoned as such acts were done by force without the will and consent of the Kashmiri people.

Ghazali stated that India’s notorious agency NIA had made a vicious attempt against civilians by conducting raids at various places in the occupied territory.

“NIA raided the home of prominent human rights activist, Khurram Parvez and harassed his family”, he added.

He called upon the peace-supporting countries and organizations to play their role for the provision of human rights and the right to self-determination which is the legitimate right of the Kashmiri people.
