London, February 22 (KMS): People in the UK will observe coming Friday, February 25, as ‘Hijab Day’ in protest against India continuing its anti-Islam and pro-fascism policies in the country and occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Fahim Kayani, president of Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK, addressing a press conference in London said that on coming Friday, “people in the UK will observe Hijab Day.”
We have requested Imams of mosques to discuss during their Friday sermons the protection of women rights and importance of Hijab, he said.
Others who were present in the press conference included Allama Syed Zafar Ullah Shah, Mufti Fazal Ahmed Qadari, Mulana Tariq Masood, Mufti Abdul Majeed Nadeem, Khawajah Muhammad Suleman and Chaudhry Ikramul Haq.
They on the occasion condemned the acts which are perpetrated by Hindutva regime in India.
