Withdrawal of security to political activists unjustified: CPI-M

Srinagar, February 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has said that decision of the authorities to downgrade and withdraw security of political leaders and activists of different parties was arbitrary and had no justification.

Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami in a statement in Srinagar said the decision could endanger the lives of these leaders and activists.

“The security should be provided irrespective of political affiliations,” he said and urged the administration to review the decision.
