Islamabad, February 10 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter leaders have stressed to formulate an effective joint strategy to raise the Kashmir dispute in international forums and to highlight the ongoing Indian atrocities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir more effectively.
The APHC-AJK leaders expressed these views in their meeting with the AJK President, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, at the Aiwan-e-Sadar, Kashmir House in Islamabad, today. They appreciated the recently held All Parties Conference of the political leaders of AJK, the base camp of Kashmir freedom movement, and the decisions taken during the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry urged to make Azad Kashmir a true base camp for freedom of Kashmir and maintained the political parties and senior political leadership of AJK are united on the Kashmir dispute. He said in the recent APC it was decided that a Kashmir rally will be held in Islamabad on February 24 and the Kashmir dispute will be highlighted through rallies and conferences at home and abroad.
Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry further said the AJK political leadership is aware of the dire situation in IIOJK and it will go to every forum of the world and shake the conscience of the international community. He said that in this regard, he first took the political leadership of AJK into confidence by calling the Kashmir Conference and then he called overseas Kashmiris’ Conference and today he met the leaders of APHC. “We will again convene the All Parties Kashmir Conference to which the political leadership of Azad Kashmir, the APHC and the Kashmiri Diaspora abroad will be invited,” he said.
The APHC-AJK leaders who met Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry included Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Mahmood Ahmad Saghar, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Altaf Hussain Wani, Ejaz Rahmani, Nisar Mirza and Abdul Majeed Mir. Advisor to AJK President, Sardar Imtiaz Khan, was also present on the occasion.
