Rally in solidarity with IIOJK people held in Muzaffarabad

Muzaffarabad, February 04 (KMS): A rally was organized at Burhan Wani Chowk in Muzaffarabad to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter leader Muhammad Younis Mir led the rally while former ministers Bazal Naqvi, Murtaza Gilani, PPP leaders Shaukat Javed Mir, Sardar Ishtiaq Awan, Riaz Awan, Central Bar Association leaders Sardar Ramzan Advocate and Sardar Aurangzeb Advocate and others participated in the rally.

The protesters were holding banners and placards with slogans against India and in favour of Kashmir’s freedom from Indian illegal occupation. They paid homage to the martyrs of Kashmir.

Addressing the rally, the speakers said peace cannot be established in South Asia unless the Kashmiri people are given their birthright to self-determination. They said that the international community must take notice of the Indian state terrorism in IIOJK and help resolve the Kashmir dispute on permanent basis.

The speakers said the people of IIOJK are not alone but the people of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir are standing behind them and one day the Kashmiris will definitely get freedom from the Indian subjugation.

Demonstrators held a rally from Burhan Wani Chowk to the premises of Darbar Sakhi Sohaili Sarkar. At the end of the rally, special prayers were also offered for the martyrs of Kashmir.
