Srinagar, February 03 (KMS): A special court in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), has directed the Srinagar Central Jail’s Superintendent to get People’s Democratic Party (PDP), leader, Waheed Parra, examined by a specialist doctor after he was found unconscious in jail.
Parra is currently detained under black law, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) over various fake cases imposed by Bharatiya Janata Party, (BJP), regime on him and was found unconscious in Central Jail, Srinagar.
PDP president Mehbboba Mufti appealed to Indian Home Minister Amit Shah to facilitate urgent assistance for Parra. CPM leader Muhammad Yousuf Targami said charges against Parra hadn’t been proved so he should be released.
Parra’s family moved an application before the TADA court in Srinagar seeking specialised medical treatment for Parra.
It is pertinent to mention here that Para was arrested by the dreaded, Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) on November 25, 2020, just a day after he announced his candidacy for the District Development Council (DDC) elections and filed nomination papers.
