Anti-India demos in Srinagar

Srinagar, January 21 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat activists held anti-India protest demonstrations in Srinagar on the martyrdom anniversary of victims of Gaw Kadal massacre.

On this day in 1990, over 50 innocent people were killed in Gaw Kadal area of Srinagar when Indian forces had resorted to indiscriminate firing on peaceful demonstrators.

The Hurriyat activists assembled in Gaw Kadal and Basant Bagh areas of Srinagar to remember the victims of the deadly massacre.

The protesters were holding posters and placards in their hands with pictures of the victims of Gaw Kadal massacre and slogans paying tributes to them. They also raised high-pitched anti-India and pro-freedom slogans.
