India intensifies restrictions in IIOJK ahead of 26 Jan celebrations

Srinagar, January 13:(KMS) In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, restrictions have been intensified in the name security days ahead of January 26, which India observes as its Republic Day.

The latest technology including induction of Black Panther Command Control Vehicles and CCTV cameras have been pressed into service to monitor the situation closely in the territory.

The Indian military authorities have set up huge makeshift bunkers to keep monitor daily life of people and the visitors.

A senior police officer told media men in Srinagar that security has been tightened across the Kashmir valley ahead of the official celebrations with Indian forces’ personnel keeping a tight vigil in Srinagar and adjoining areas.

Meanwhile, Indian troops and paramilitary forces launched cordon and search operations (CASOs) in several areas of Shopian and Jammu districts. India’s notorious National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided a residential house of a private teacher Farooq Ahmad and arrested him in Pulwama district. The dreaded agency also seized documents and mobile phone of the victim.
