Posters in IIOJK demand release of all political prisoners


Srinagar, January 12 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, posters have appeared in Srinagar and other areas of the territory demanding release of all political leaders, youth and women languishing in different jails of the territory and India.

The posters displayed by Jammu Kashmir Freedom Movement and Hurriyat Youth Forum read “Release all political prisoners”, “Go India go back” and “Free Kashmir”.

The posters with pictures of illegally detained All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt, senior APHC leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, APHC Vice Chairman, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chairperson Aasiya Andrabi, and APHC leaders including Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Ayaz Muhammad Akbar, Peer Saifullah, Raja Merajuddin Kalwal, Farooq Ahmad Dar, Shahidul Islam, and human rights activist Khurrum Parvez were pasted on walls, pillars and poles in Srinagar and other areas of the territory.

The posters reminded the United Nations that it must implement its relevant resolutions to settle the Kashmir dispute to save the Kashmiris from the Indian brutalities. The posters conveyed a massage to India that the Kashmiris will never surrender for their just demand for their right to self-determination.
