Hindutva extremists vandalise shop of Muslim in UP

Moradabad, December 27 (KMS): Hindutva extremists vandalised a shop run by a Muslim man in Indian state of Utter Pradesh ruled by BJP-RSS.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the shop named ‘New Sai Juice Centre’, is there for the past 15 years in the Majhola area of Moradabad district of the state.

The Hindutva extremists vandalised the shop and forced its Muslim owner to shut it down. They raised objection to the outlet’s name ‘New Sai Juice Centre’.

The Bajrang Dal outfit claimed that “Sai Baba is a Hindu deity” and the Muslim owner should change its name. They also threatened to shut all shops run by Muslims.

Majhola Station house officer (SHO) Dhananjay Singh said, “We found that about 20-25 people, led by Navneet Sharma, had forcefully closed the juice shop. They also slapped its owner. We have registered an FIR against Sharma and his aides.”
