World peace cannot be ensured without Kashmir resolution: Inqilabi

Srinagar, December 23 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi Jammu and Kashmir, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, has said that the permanent peace in the world cannot be established without resolving the Kashmir dispute by giving the Kashmiris their right to self-determination.

Abdul Samad Inqilabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the United Nations, India and Pakistan had recognized the right to self-determination of the people of Kashmir under resolutions of the Security Council. He said that implementation of these resolutions was the best way to settle the lingering Kashmir dispute and ensure lasting peace in the world.

Samad Inqilabi added that the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, had taken the Kashmir dispute to the United Nations but despite the passage of over seven decades, India was not willing to resolve it. The unresolved Kashmir dispute posed serious threat to the regional and global peace, he maintained.

Meanwhile, Hurriyat leader, Javaid Ahmad Mir in a statement in Srinagar appealed the international community to work for peace and stability in South Asia and save millions of people from nuclear war.

He said, the people of Kashmir want peaceful solution of the lingering Kashmir dispute, adding no durable peace in south Asian countries is possible without the settlement of the dispute.

Javaid Mir also welcomed the British parliament members’ statement on the worst human rights violations in IIOJK by Indian forces’ personnel.
