Rally participants urge OIC to adopt pro-freedom strategy for IIOJK

Muzaffarabad, December 19 (KMS): A rally was held in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, against the growing Indian state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

A large number of people besides leaders and activists of Pasban-e-Hurriyat participated in the rally. The participants held banners with slogans urging the OIC to extend its support for a just solution to the Kashmir dispute.

The participants chanted slogans in favour of freedom and against India.

Addressing the rally, speakers including Uzair Ahmad Ghazali, Mehboob Khan, Shaukat Javed Mir, Usman Ali Hashim, Mushtaqul Islam, Azmat Hayat Kashmiri, Dr Muhammad Manzoor, Hamza Shaheen and Muhammad Aimal Farzam condemned Indian state terrorism in disputed Jammu and Kashmir. They said that India was trying to crush the Kashmiris’ freedom movement through extrajudicial killing of the Kashmiri youth.

The speakers urged the OIC Foreign Ministers to take note of the ongoing Indian state terrorism in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir on urgent basis. They said that the OIC should adopt a solid and strong strategy for the freedom occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Rally participants marched from Burhanwani Shaheed Chowk to Ghari Pan Chowk in Muzaffarabad.
