Srinagar, December 08 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, 141 new Covid-19 cases were reported while four persons succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours in the territory.
Two Covid deaths were reported from the Kashmir valley and two others including an Indian citizen from Uttar Pradesh from Jammu region. The Indian citizen was not vaccinated.
Of the 141 fresh Covid cases, 103 were reported from Kashmir valley, 29 from Jammu division and nine from Ladakh region.
Meanwhile, Islamia College of Science and Commerce in Srinagar has been closed for five days after some staff members of the institution tested positive for the infection. The administration of the College ordered closure of the institution till December 11 for all kind of activities.
