Srinagar, November 14 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Sibt Shabbir Qumi, head of Jammu and Kashmir Pairwan-e-Wilayat, has said that India has turned Jammu and Kashmir into a military garrison.
Sibt Shabbir Qumi while addressing a meeting in Baramulla said that Indian forces have created an atmosphere of fear and terror in the occupied territory. Several more companies of the Indian paramilitary forces have been deployed in Kashmir to suppress the freedom movement, he added.
Qumi lamented the silence maintained by the international community on the brutalities of Indian forces in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the youth have a fundamental and important role to play in the freedom movement.
Sibt Shabbir Qumi appealed to the Muslim Ummah to play its role in saving Kashmiris from Indian oppression. Besides Pairwan-e-Wilayat leaders, the meeting was attended by a large number of youth.
