NPP protests in Jammu against communal politics of BJP

Jammu, November 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (NPP) has said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership is engineering communal divide and promoting hatred on the basis of caste and religion in the territory.

The NPP activists, led by the party Chairman, Minister Harsh Dev Singh, held a protest demonstration at Press Club in Jammu against the BJP. The protestors, raising slogans against the BJP leadership, sought appropriate punitive action against all those who were trying to polarize the society on communal lines to subserve their vested political interests and other nefarious designs.

The NPP Chairman dubbing the utterances of a BJP leader against a particular community as an absurd act of histrionics said that BJP owed an explanation to the entire citizenry for such divisive and profane remarks made by its senior leader. He was apparently referring to the recent statement of BJP leader, Vikram Randwa, who said that those Kashmiris who had celebrated India’s defeat against Pakistan in the ongoing T-20 World Cup should be skinned alive.

Harsh Dev said that having failed to deliver and consequently to face the public outrage, the BJP was trying to polarize the society so as to retain its dominance in the political landscape.
