More bunkers come up in IIOJK

Security beefed up across Kashmir ahead of HM Amit Shah's visitSrinagar, November 03 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian military authorities have further strengthened the so-called security measures in Srinagar and other parts of territory.

More concrete and makeshift bunkers have come up at Barzulla, Jawahar Nagar, Bypass and several other places in Srinagar and in other towns and villages of the territory. They are being manned by the personnel of Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

Besides, many mobile bunkers of Indian police and paramilitary forces can be seen in standby mode at several places in Srinagar. The mobile bunkers have also been stationed at TRC crossing, Lal Chowk, Jehangir Chowk, M A Road, Bemina, and Parimpora Bypass areas of Srinagar while the joint teams of Indian police and paramilitary forces are carrying out random searches, causing fear among the residents.

Indian military and police personnel have enhanced frisking of people and checking of vehicles while a fully drone-based surveillance system has been put in place to keep a watch on public movement.

It is to mention here that the Indian government has already deployed 50 additional companies of Indian paramilitary forces, 30 of them in Srinagar alone, to strangulate voice for freedom and suppress the ongoing struggle for the right to self-determination in IIOJK.
