Raipur, November 01 (KMS): Indian paramilitary personnel killed three women in Chhattisgarh state of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, three women were killed by the Indian paramilitary and police personnel during a search operation in Adwal and Kunjeras villages under Katekalyan police station in Dantewada district of the state.
The deceased were identified as Raje Muchaki, Geeta Markam and Jyoti alias Bhime Nuppo. Police blamed that the women were active as members of Katekalyan Area Committee of Maoists.
Naxalite–Maoists are called the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army which is largely active in tribal and rural areas of India demanding justice and political rights. Thousands of Naxalites are detained in different jails of India.
Meanwhile, 13 people were killed when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it fell into a deep gorge at the Byla village, Chakrata in Dehradun district of Uttarakhand.
