Blacklisting of Indian colleges that harass, humiliate Kashmiri students demanded

Srinagar, October 29 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in the backdrop of Kashmiri students being roughed up in Agra court after being slapped with sedition charges, a Valley-based student body has demanded colleges and institutions that target Kashmiri students should be blacklisted.

The President of Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA), Nasir Khuehami, in an interview in Srinagar said they are in a process of compiling a list of all those colleges and universities in India in which Kashmiri students are unnecessarily harassed.

He said that the colleges in India where Kashmiri students are unnecessarily harassed and subjected to mental and physical torture during political or sports events would be called out.

“We want such colleges to be blacklisted,” he said without mincing any word. The student leader said kids who go to Indian states don’t leave their homes for fun or any thrill but for serious studies. “They should not be linked to any politics,” he said.
He said his organisation is in touch with the governments in the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Karnataka and Uttarakhand where Kashmiri students are studying presently.
