IIOJK admin transfers 524 kanal of land to CRPF for establishing camps

Srinagar, October 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities have approved transfer of over 500 kanal of land in favour of Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) for establishing battalion camping sites in various areas of south Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, a statement issued by information department said that the Administrative Council headed by Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, in a meeting in Srinagar approved the proposal of Revenue Department to transfer various parcels of land for this purpose. This land measuring 524 kanal 11 marla in total is located in different areas of Islamabad, Shopian and Pulwama districts.

The Administrative Council also approved the transfer of land measuring 20 kanal in favour of Police Department for construction of Sub-Divisional Police Office /Police Station Litter in Pulwama district.

Also, the Administrative Council approved the proposal of the Revenue Department for transferring around 122 kanal of land in Kupwara, Baramulla and Budgam districts for the construction of accommodation for Kashmiri migrant (Pandit) employees in the valley.
