Rahul sees 1990 like situation emerging in IIOJK

New Delhi, October 19 (KMS): All India Congress Committee Vice President, Rahul Gandhi while describing the civilian killing in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir as intelligence failure and lack of coordination among Indian troops has said that the situation is turning volatile and fast returning to what was prevailing during early 1990s in the territory.

Rahul Gandhi while reviewing the current situation in IIOJK during a meeting with Congress IIOJK leader Ghulam Nabi Azad in New Delhi said that Congress party feels highly concerned about the safety of people while blaming the Modi government for failing to ensure safety of people.

The Congress leaders said, the loss of civilians is a matter of serious concern, and urged the Modi government to take immediate effective measures to ensure the safety of citizens.

“The public issues appear to be no priority of the J&K administration. The general public was suffering as their issues have remained unattended. There was wide gap between the general public and administration. Under such circumstances, there was urgent need of the installation of a popular Government in J&K,” they maintained.
